Babbish Field Guide to Michigan's Second Generation Diesel Locomotives

A field guide for knowing and identifying the many different "second generation" diesel locomotives operated by Michigan's railroads near the end of their use. Diesel models manufactured by EMD, GE and Alco are featured in both photographs and descriptions as well as what railroads in Michigan used them. All photographs were taken by the author between 1975 and 2000.
